The "My World" project is a peace-building charitable program for young children in areas of conflict. First started in 2008, it has distributed hundreds of disposable cameras to children in areas of conflict and poverty, taught the children conflict resolution skills, photographic skills, and connected them to each other. The project connects children both in and outside areas of conflict through art and photography, allows them to find commonalities with one another and produces a common understanding of values and equality.

Children are asked to photograph what is most important to them in their daily lives. Each child creates a collage page with their photos that they choose to show children at other participating schools around the world. After they finish their page, the children are shown
My World pages from children in other participating schools, and there is a discussion about similarities and differences, teaching the children peaceful conflict resolution skills and techniques.
